All languages have their own typographical rules which must be adhered to in any document intended for publication. To project the best possible image of your company, your publications distributed in foreign languages must be flawless in terms of both content and form.
Typographical rules vary widely from language to language. Such rules concern the use of capital letters, punctuation, the insertion of spaces before question or exclamation marks, hyphenation, etc.

What’s more, you may need your document translated into a language which requires a greater number of words to be used than in the source text, meaning the translation takes up more space that the original. The diversity of alphabets (Cyrillic, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, etc.) and the different reading directions can make the operation even more complex.

Our company has an extensive technical and software infrastructure (QuarkXPress, InDesign, FrameMaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), so as to deliver you a ready-for-print document ready to send to the printers.

Your text is translated by a specialised native-language translator, and is then inserted into the mockup. To ensure that they are perfectly legible and easy to use on both PCs and Macs, the texts are vectorised – it’s not a matter of simply copying and pasting text. The translator then proofreads the final document before delivery to the client to make sure that the rules regarding spaces, hyphenation, date formats, currencies, quotations, etc. are adhered to.
